Changelog

Everything that has changed here, newest first. Currently running v0.4.2.

  1. v0.4.2current

The picture QR moves to the front — shown on the home page, and offered while you create a code instead of afterwards.

    • AddedThe home page shows real, scannable picture QR codes — photo, logo and color — rendered live in your browser.
    • ChangedDesigning a code is now part of creating one: pick a photo or logo right after the details, instead of finding it later on the code's page.
    • ChangedThe design editor is one shared component across both places, so the scan check behaves identically wherever you design.
  2. v0.4.1

    • AddedThis changelog, linked from the version number in the footer.
  3. v0.4.0

Picture QR codes and six new content types, so a code can carry Wi-Fi credentials or a contact card instead of only a link.

    • AddedSix new content types alongside URL: Text, Email, Phone, SMS, Wi-Fi and vCard.
    • AddedPicture QR — embed a logo, or blend a photo through the entire code, with custom colors.
    • AddedEvery design is checked with a real decoder before it can be saved; Save stays disabled until the rendered image reads back as the original payload.
    • AddedThe shipped version now appears in the footer and at /api/health.
    • ChangedEditable destinations and scan analytics are now described as URL-only, because only URL codes redirect through the site. The other six types store their data in the image, so they cannot be edited after printing or counted.
    • ChangedThe design editor loads only when opened, keeping the code detail page light for people who just want their scan stats.
  4. v0.3.1

    • Fixed“Create an account” now goes to the OTM sign-up page instead of the OTM login page.
  5. v0.3.0

    • ChangedCreating an account here creates an OTM account, so one login works across every OTM app.
  6. v0.2.2

    • FixedA wrong password now shows a message on the login page instead of a crash page.
  7. v0.2.1

    • SecurityUpgraded Next.js from 15.0.3 to 15.5.x and moved off the React 19 release candidate to React 18.3.1.
  8. v0.2.0

    • AddedSign in with OTM — an OTM account signs in here without a separate password.
  9. v0.1.1

    • SecurityShort links are restricted to http and https destinations, closing an open redirect.
  10. v0.1.0

    First release.

    • AddedQR codes with editable destinations, custom slugs, scan analytics, public stats and ownership transfer.
